- The State Energy Program administers federal financial assistance and technical support provided to the State from the U.S. Department of Energy.
- The Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program reduces energy costs for low-income households by increasing the energy efficiency of homes while ensuring health and safety.
- The State Utility Program supports energy procurement and management strategies that ensure reliable, low-cost and environmentally responsible energy services for State of Georgia facilities.
- The State Energy Strategy for Georgia represents the culmination of Georgia’s first-ever statewide energy planning effort.
- Through a variety of Energy Partnerships, the Division of Energy Resources collaborates with organizations to work toward common goals.
- The Energy Data and Analysis initiative strives to provide high-quality and easily accessible information about energy use, supply and markets in Georgia.
- Through various Transportation initiatives, GEFA promotes alternative vehicle fuels and transportation programs that reduce the environmental impacts of traditional transportation in Georgia and relieve traffic congestion.
- The Recycling and Waste Reduction Program provides funding to local governments to reduce the amount of landfill solid waste through recycling and other waste reduction activities.
