The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) increased funding for water, sewer, energy efficiency and renewable programs administered by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), including:
- Clean Water State Revolving Fund
- Drinking Water State Revolving Fund
- State Energy Program
- Weatherization Assistance Program
GEFA also introduced new programs funded through ARRA such as:
- Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program for cities under 35,000 people and counties under 200,000 people
- Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate program
