The Weatherization Assistance Program receives funding from multiple sources to support its weatherization work.
The Program is administered under guidelines from the Department of Energy (DOE).
Program funding comes from the following sources:
- The Department of Energy
- U. S. Department of Health and Human Services Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program administered by the Georgia Department of Human Resources
- Georgia Power Company
- Atlanta Gas Light Company
- Various local leveraged funds
Funding from these sources over the past year has provided weatherization for 2,467 homes, serving 3,618 clients.
